Wild Folk Bakery

It was a cool and breezy spring morning when we stopped in to visit the kitchen at Wild Folk Bakery. Macy from Wild Folk had just pulled a fresh batch of croissants out of the oven and the aroma was drifting outdoors. There is no better smell than freshly baked breads!

Say hello to Macy from Wild Folk Bakery ! What sets Wild Folk apart is the fact that everything is made with no commercial yeast. All of the products are sourdough. Sourdough is growing in popularity due to it's ability to be more easily digestible for those with gluten sensitivities.

This year at the market expect to see sourdough bagels, hand-rolled pretzels, fresh made croissants, and the famous pain au chocolat (chocolate filled croissant). Macy was kind enough to share samples of her product and we can say first hand that both her croissants and pain au chocolate were flaky, buttery and delicious. Another exciting addition to her lineup will be homemade sourdough pastas.

Macy is a lifetime baker and credits her grandma with her baking skills. Bagels are her favorite thing to make and she says asiago cheese is her favorite! Macy is excited to get to know our community and bring croissants, pretzels and bagels to our market!

Plan a stop to see Wild Folk Bakery on Opening Day and sample her products! Our farmers, bakers, and aritsans are busy preparing for our customers and community on May 7th!
